new to me

I’m covered in cobwebs.

Found a new trail here this morning.

New to me,
must be old to others
all overgrown
falling under
But a sweet spot to take cover
and just hold myself and breathe
and remember the intelligence of the trees
there is so much that we have yet to know
and maybe never will
not even when we’re fully grown
so many realities
breathing together
harmoniously
they breathe out
I breathe in
again
again
again

so who am I to ever doubt the interconnectedness within
and without
so many particles moving
in fractal patterns cruising
and then you and I
an amalgamation of information
tied up so beautifully in our DNA
and our similar way of saying “hey”
as we cruised right in to one another
like two stars colliding
pretty mesmerizing

and a sight to behold
indeed
